When I started Cry808, the goal was simple. Build a platform that gives independent artists the same quality of coverage and opportunities that larger publications reserve for established names. Since then, we’ve published hundreds of articles, worked directly with artists around the world, and continued refining what a modern music publication can be.
Today, I’m excited to announce the next step in that journey.
Cry808 has officially acquired ArtistHeat.
ArtistHeat has spent years building a library of content covering music, entertainment, fashion, creators, and digital culture. Rather than starting another publication from scratch, acquiring an existing platform allows us to preserve that foundation while building something much larger on top of it.
Why ArtistHeat?
ArtistHeat already had something valuable: history.
The site has an established archive, existing search visibility, and years of published content. Instead of letting that work disappear, the goal is to modernize the platform while keeping everything that made it worth acquiring in the first place.
