KapNGhostTrain Releases “Tianeptine In My Heart” Featuring the Late Gh0stTito

Flint, Michigan artist and producer KapNGhostTrain returned on August 26 with “Tianeptine In My Heart,” a new track featuring the late Gh0stTito and produced by e_2bloody. The song appears as track seven on KapNGhostTrain’s self-titled 2026 project and now carries additional weight as one of Gh0stTito’s posthumous appearances following his death earlier this month.

KapNGhostTrain, born Jesse Durand, has built his identity around experimentation across multiple corners of underground music. He is the founder of the underground collective Gh0st Krew and also established the independent label New Nlorgian Excellent Records in 2024 as a home for his independently released music. Outside of the KapNGhostTrain persona, Durand has also been involved in heavier projects including the black metal band Baazlvaat and the industrial black metal/DSBM project Nlorg Pipe. That background helps explain why “Tianeptine In My Heart” feels less interested in staying inside a single genre and more focused on creating a strange atmosphere of its own.

Gh0stTito Opens the Record

Featured artist Gh0stTito, born Gabriel “Tito” Lovett, handles the opening verse. The Flint rapper was a close friend of KapNGhostTrain, a founding member of Gh0st Krew and an artist signed to New Nlorgian Excellent Records.

His verse immediately brings a loose and reckless underground energy to the track. Tito moves through references to money, drugs, women, smoking and drinking without trying to force everything into a traditional narrative. Instead, the appeal comes through his delivery and repetition.

Lines like:

“Countin’ money, just to get the snow”

and:

“Pour up for the dead homies”

sit inside a verse that feels intentionally raw and almost stream-of-consciousness.

The second line is especially difficult to hear without thinking about what happened shortly before the song's release.

Gh0stTito passed away on August 10, 2026, at just 23 years old. His death was publicly reported on August 12, while a cause has not been disclosed. “Tianeptine In My Heart” arrived only sixteen days after his passing.

That context makes an already dark record feel significantly heavier.

KapNGhostTrain Turns Repetition Into the Hook

After Tito’s verse, KapNGhostTrain takes over and pushes the song further into experimental territory.

His entire section revolves around tianeptine, repeatedly returning to phrases such as:

“Tianeptine in my heart”

and:

“It’s my favorite drug”

Rather than building a conventional verse with constantly changing bars, KapNGhostTrain uses repetition almost like a hypnotic device. The words begin to blend into the production, making the vocals feel like another piece of the instrumental rather than something sitting separately on top of it.

That approach makes the track feel closer to a warped underground chant than a standard rap song.

He also describes the substance as making him feel both “energized and relaxed” simultaneously, reinforcing the song’s strange, chemically hazy atmosphere.

A Collision of Rap, Electronic Music and Something Darker

Produced by e_2bloody, “Tianeptine In My Heart” sits somewhere between underground rap and electronic experimentation.

The track has been associated with everything from cloud rap and plugg to witch house, electronic trap, drill and EDM, and KapNGhostTrain’s background makes that genre collision feel natural rather than forced. An artist who has worked around black metal, industrial music and underground hip-hop is naturally going to approach rap differently from someone working inside one scene exclusively.

There is also very little attempt to clean up the song's rough edges.

That works in its favor.

“Tianeptine In My Heart” feels deliberately strange, repetitive and abrasive in places. Gh0stTito provides the more recognizable underground rap performance, while KapNGhostTrain pulls the record into a much more obsessive and unconventional direction.

The contrast is what gives the collaboration its identity.

Gh0stTito’s Feature Now Carries a Different Meaning

The most important part of the record, however, may simply be hearing Gh0stTito alongside one of his closest collaborators again.

Gh0stTito was not simply a random guest verse added to a KapNGhostTrain song. The two artists came out of the same Flint underground environment, helped build Gh0st Krew together and were connected through New Nlorgian Excellent Records.

That relationship gives the feature context.

Gh0stTito was still at the beginning of his career when he passed away. Born on October 26, 2002, he had only reached 23 years old and was still developing his sound and building alongside the artists around him.

“Tianeptine In My Heart” now preserves a small part of that period.

As a song, it is messy, hypnotic and aggressively underground. As a release arriving less than three weeks after Gh0stTito’s death, it becomes something more personal: a surviving recording between two Flint artists who were building an entire creative world together.

For KapNGhostTrain, the song fits naturally into the strange and experimental universe he has continued to create.

For Gh0stTito, it is another piece of music keeping his voice alive.
