The Oddroots present the studio live session video for their song Awareness. The track, included on their debut self-titled EP, released in 2024 by Surna Records, blends roots reggae and soul, enriched by afro-inspired rhythms and a powerful horn section.
Fifteen musicians from different parts of the world – from Senegal to Colombia, passing through Germany and Italy – came together at Studio Miriam in Rome to record this video, produced by Edoardo Persico, Nicolò Marano, and Giovanni Pellegrino.
The Italian band had already released the dub version of Awareness, at the end of 2024, remixed by Paolo Baldini DubFiles.
