Black Sherif Drops Highly Anticipated Album: IRON BOY And Embarks On North American & European Tour

Ghanaian breakout star and global force Black Sherif releases his highly anticipated second album IRON BOY, a powerful 15-track project that builds on the momentum of his breakout success and charts an emotionally charged, deeply personal next chapter. The release arrives alongside the cinematic visual for lead track “Rebel Music,” which captures Sherif’s unmistakable presence and artistic vision.

Rooted in a unique fusion of Afrobeats, hip-hop, and Ghanaian highlife, IRON BOY serves as Sherif’s most personal and accomplished work to date. The album is his proudest achievement to date, featuring a key collaboration with Fireboy DML on “So It Goes” and contributions from top-tier producers, including long-time collaborator Joker Nharnah (Kwaku The Traveller) and Lekaa Beats (Omah Lay, Central Cee,Nasty C). IRON BOY embodies the strength he has cultivated within, delivering standout moments from the very start. The opening track, “The Victory Song”, declares his relentless hustle and never-give-up attitude, while “One” sets an intentional tone. The title track, “IRON BOY” , reflects on the importance of taking time to be happy, something he has prioritised over the past year.

With IRON BOY, Black Sherif solidifies his role as one of the most compelling voices coming out of the continent, earning widespread acclaim for his storytelling and artistic courage:

“The prodigy from Ghana is taking his impassioned sound global.”The FADER
“The vocalist’s candour, vulnerability and uplifting guidance is helping to turn him into one of the biggest stars in African music.” –  The Guardian
“Black Sherif is Ghana’s openhearted music star.”The Face

To celebrate the release, Black Sherif is set to embark on a six-date North American tour, kicking off on April 4th, before heading to Europe for 11 unmissable performances. The European leg includes a significant headline show at London’s prestigious O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on May 3rd, which has hosted some of the biggest names in global music. This follows the overwhelming success of Black Sherif’s sold-out headline show at KOKO, London, which marked his first-ever international tour date.
